Heather Landry is the founder and principal designer of Breathing Room Designs Inc, a New York City based interior design studio specializing in thoughtful residential renovations and interiors.

For more than a decade, Heather has guided clients through projects ranging from complete gut renovations and reimagined floor plans to kitchens, baths, furnishings and the final details that make a home feel personal.

Her approach begins with understanding how her clients actually want to live. Rather than imposing a signature look, Heather brings a clear design point of view to each project while allowing the architecture, the client and the character of the home to shape the result.

With an instinct for both the creative and practical sides of design, Heather considers the home as a whole, from how spaces connect and function to how materials, lighting, furnishings and architectural details work together.

Breathing Room Designs is intentionally boutique, allowing Heather to remain closely involved throughout the design process. The result is a highly personal and collaborative experience and homes that feel considered without feeling overly designed. Always warm, comfortable and distinctly their own.
