This two family Brooklyn row house underwent an extensive renovation to create a more functional and comfortable home for a young, growing family.

The work went well beyond the finishes. We removed the existing shared walls, added soundproofing throughout the house, installed new plumbing and a gas fireplace, and reworked the interior to create a more open and connected floor plan. The kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, finishes and furnishings were all considered as part of the larger renovation.

Outside, the existing backyard was completely gutted and redesigned as an extension of the living space, creating a private garden for the family to enjoy throughout the year.

After such an extensive renovation, the house feels completely transformed, but most importantly, it feels warm, comfortable and made for the family who lives there.
